Independence Day!!

July 4, 1776, revolutionaries claimed their independence from Great Britain, a day Americans still celebrate as their nation's birthday. It is a day to rejoice in our blessings and remember the sacrifices of those who vouchsafed our freedom; it is a day to thank God for our liberty. A devoted patriot, President Ezra Taft Benson, said: "Consider how very fortunate we are to be living in this land of America. The destiny of this country was forged long before the earth was even created. This choice land was set apart by God to become a cradle of freedom. Men of unfliching courage established this nation and under God's guiding hand provided a Constitution, guaranteeing freedom to every one of it's citizens."
